Frontline Youth

Before we try to sell you on all of the amazing things that goes on atthe Y, we wouldlike to sell you on all the things that won’t be happening.

There are no XBOX 360s or PlayStations. We don’t have some young andrelevant communicator who understands this generation (although helooks young). We rarely have coffee (unless you are drinking it withour friends from City Rescue Mission). You probably won’t find a sexyboy band leading worship with the token female on keys, although a fogmachine would be cool. And, sometimes, we actually meet inside ourbuilding where there is NO carpet, NO couches, and NO rad sound system.Just a bunch of beat up chairs to get comfortable in (we don’t like tosit for very long).

If you are still reading, here is what you will find:

You will see Students on a Mission to reach our city for Jesus. We havefound it is more fun to do this outside since most of Oklahoma City isoutside our church walls. We have teens just like you, coming fromaround the corner or driving all the way from the suburbs like Edmond,Moore, or Choctaw. These students experience highs and lows in lifejust like any other teen. Some have got their Jesus on and are startingto figure things out. Some don’t. We can promise you this… You will getyour hands dirty and have fun doing it as Jesus makes an impact on yourlife while using you to impact someone else’s.

And the bestpart… we have the coolest adults who want to help you along thisamazing spiritual journey. So, if you wanna go to Wal-Mart, that’sfine. But if you’re tired of the show and just wanna have your facemelted off, come hang with us.
